Transfer applicants to SPU have three application options. Please choose one of the following:

• SPU Transfer Application: SPU’s application designed specifically for transfer and post-baccalaureate students.
• The Common Application: Undergraduate college application used by more than 500 member colleges.
• SPU Nursing Application: All transfer and post-baccalaureate students applying to the Lydia Green Nursing Program must apply for admission via the SPU Nursing Application.

Application requirements

• Application for admission (either the SPU Transfer Application, the Common Application, or the SPU Nursing Application)
• $50申请费

• Final high school transcript: Only required for students who have taken fewer than 45 college level quarter or 30 college level semester credits since high school graduation at the time of application

Students do not need to submit the Secondary School Report or the Registrar’s Report document completed by their college or university registrar.

How GPA affects students’ admission

As admissions counselors, we understand that although GPA is important, it does not tell the whole story of who you are. We ask that students have a minimum of 2.5+ GPA because we want each person to be set up for success in our academic programs. If you feel that your GPA is not an accurate representation of your ability and performance, explain why in your application essay. We want to get to know you personally, not just academically. Tell us about the obstacles you’ve overcome and why you connect with the mission and values of SPU.

If a students’ courses are not listed in the Transfer Course Equivalency Guide, we are glad to offer a preliminary transcript evaluation if students do one of the following:

• Submit a completed application*

After completing one of the above, students can request a transcript evaluation by submitting the following information:

2. SPU ID Number (if known)
3. All college(s) attended (attach unofficial transcripts for each)
4. If you would like additional class(es) evaluated that are not listed on your transcripts, please provide the course name, number and description for each class.

We know that rising college costs are a consistent concern for students accessing the colleges of their choice and pursuing their dreams. 在回应, Seattle Pacific reduced tuition by 25%, introduced new scholarship initiatives, and put a cap on future tuition increases.

Faith at Seattle Pacific

Founded in the Free Methodist tradition, SPU is a Christian university. All faculty and staff are committed to their Christian faith, with over 50 denominations represented. Students are not required to sign a statement of faith to attend SPU, so there is a welcome space for students who want to grow deeper in their Christian faith, for those who align with other faiths, or for those who do not practice a faith tradition at all.  

As part of SPU’s general education curriculum, students explore or grow deeper in Christian faith through three required courses. For those students wanting to pursue additional ways to grow in their Christian faith, 教堂, 圣经学习小组, 礼拜仪式, amongst other optional opportunities, are spaces in which students can choose to engage.

• Seattle Pacific accepts students who are not Christian.
• About 75% of students profess Christian faith or come from a Christian background.  
• All faculty and staff come from Christian faith backgrounds and represent over 30 different Christian faith traditions, Protestant and Catholic.
