Meet Kennedy

Admissions job: I have the privilege of supporting students of color during their admissions process at Seattle Pacific University! It is my responsibility to ensure that future students are comfortable and confident as they begin their journeys into higher education.

Hometown: Federal Way/Tacoma, WA

Education: Todd Beamer High School; University of Washington, Bothell (Educational Studies, with a focus on Educational Leadership, Policy and Social Justice).

Favorite Seattle restaurant: Any place with Crawfish, an Oyster Po Boy, OR Potbelly Sandwich Shop and Wing Dome

A trip I’d like to take: Santorini,Greece,OR a road trip to every major amusement park!

Family: I was raised by my mother, a very passionate and hardworking woman. I have a total of five siblings, two of whom I was actually raised with;and a multitude of nieces and nephews running around!

Favorite movie: Anything with Vince Vaughn

Favorite thing about SPU: The community is intimate and intentional.

Advice for high school/transfer students: Choose a school that you feel is going to listen to your voice and advocate for you. 

Hobbies & fun facts: I love to read, longboard,and find new music to listen to!
